1. Foundation Training Course for Young Dogs / Complete Beginners
- Wednesday evening at Stretcholt Equestrian, nr J23 of M5 (indoors)
- this is a 6 week course - Foundation for Agility concentrates on all the essential skills that a young dog needs - balance and co-ordination;
motivation through play; good recall and reliable startline waits; circle work; early impact free equipment experiences.
- NEXT BLOCK STARTS SEPTEMBER 22ND 2010 at 8pm
- you can register your interest by joining the waiting list NOW
- £30 for the 6 week block - - on completion you can join the Beginners' class at Stretcholt (see below)
2. New Starters at Westonzoyland (Young Dogs and/or Inexperienced Handlers)
- Saturday in the Paddock at Westonzoyland
- Foundation for Agility concentrates on all the essential skills that a beginner dog needs - balance and co-ordination;
motivation through play; good recall and reliable startline waits; circle work; early impact free equipment experiences.
- These dogs will be integrated into the existing Starters Class from week 1.
- you can register your interest by joining the waiting list NOW
- £30 for the first 6 week block - - on completion you can continue in the Starters' class at Westonzoyland (see below)
3. For Dogs that have completed some Foundation training
- Starters' Class
- Saturday Morning in the Paddock at Westonzoyland (outdoors)
- £5 per session or £25 for a block of 6 weeks
THIS CLASS IS FULL next intake October 2010 - Beginners' / Grade 1 Class
-Wednesday evening at Stretcholt Equestrian, nr J23 of M5 (indoors)
- £30 each block of 6 weeks
LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE
4. Grade 1 to 3
For Dogs and Handlers that are learning to sequence and can negotiate obstacles competently.
- Saturday Morning at the Paddock in Westonzoyland (outdoors)
- this class will continue to run throughout the year
- no pressure to compete - agility for fun handlers welcome
- our Starter handlers and dogs join this class when they are ready
- this class is currently full, but spaces occasionally become available, so please ask
- £5 per session or £25 for a block of 6 weeks
4. Train the Course Evenings - for more experienced Dogs & Handlers
For dogs and handlers that can sequence full courses and can work alongside other dogs.
Only open to handlers using positive reward based training.
- Throughout the Autumn and Winter
- 2 Wednesdays a month at Stretcholt Equestrian, nr J23 of M5 (indoors)
- From November until early 2011
- an opportunity for you to train in the way that suits you most
- ideal preparation for dogs starting to compete in 2011
- great additional preparation for dogs qualified for Olympia
- DATES AND COSTS FOR THESE SESSIONS WILL BE PUBLISHED IN SEPTEMBER
